Principal responsibilities:
- The role holder is overall responsible for implementing the General Commercial Insurance strategy.
- Provide coaching, guidance and commercial expertise to a team of Managers with area teams.
- Manage the complex direct and matrix management relationships to implement team strategy and will be accountable for compliance, service quality, training as well as the competency scheme for the regulated activities.
- Lead delivery execution of the regional plan across Business Banking client streams to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure growth in this segment and delivery of associated returns.
- Drive performance and associated activities and monitor the key metrics to ensure employee productivity is meeting expectations.
- Develop, implement and monitor the team's management plan, communicating it effectively to all employees with clear expectations and objectives.
- Ensure the generation of cross country and intra group referrals through Private Banking, Global Banking, Retail Banking, as appropriate.

Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of General Commercial Insurance, proposition and markets.
- Experience in driving team and individual performance to achieve customer and financial targets.
- Ability to manage multi stakeholder relationships, including senior executives, effectively within the network to achieve desired outcomes aligned with business goals.
- Knowledge of current regulatory environment and technical and product propositions.
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
