As a Business Banking Customer Service Advisor you’ll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers, and that will involve a lot more than just answering questions. What we’re really looking for in you is a genuine passion for making banking simple, personal and fair for our customers, and the confidence to take ownership and solve problems.

We want to make it easier for our customers to do business with us so there will be no more banking jargon and much more straightforward customer-friendly advice. In return, you can expect a 12 week induction programme, and then to continue to support you with your personal development to enable you to be successful in your role If you’re willing to work hard, we’re ready to help you progress.

As a Business Banking Customer Service Advisor your main responsibilities will be:

- Engaging with Santander Business banking customers responding to all general enquires.

- Delivering exceptional customer service on every call through interpersonal skills, building rapport and engaging with customers in a fast paced environment.

- Protecting our customers and the Santander brand by ensuring that all operating procedures and regulations are followed in line with FSA and Santander guidelines.

- Developing your knowledge of our products and the overall market, to support our customers and colleagues and have added value conversations.

Minimum skills and experience required:

- Experience of working within a customer services role either within an inbound or outbound environment.

- Excellent listening and communication skills.

- Ability to build and deepen customer relationships.

- Strong team ethos and ability to work well as part of a team.
