Definitely. You will see more and more accounts switch over to smaller banks even though it is only $5 a month. Smaller banks tend to have good benefits such as high interest gains on savings accounts and lesser overdraft fees. They might even be more willing to lend. If you are with one of the bigger banks right now, definitely think about transfering over.
