Has lending become much harder to come by than a few years ago? It seems many banks are much more strict about how they lend money, and who they lend money too even though rates are much lower. What are some ways to improve the chances that banks will lend to you? Will lending come back to where it was just a few years ago in the USA?
Lending has become a lot tighter ever since the mortgage meltdown. Lending from large banks now requires a lot more to qualify for a business or real estate loan than it did previously. I think one of the reasons for this is bankers want more guaranteed profits rather than risk. They have the money to lend but are wary to who they lend to now.
